As Chief Executive Officer, Sade Omoniyi oversees the organization.
Folasade Omoniyi earned an Associate degree in nursing from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital Nigeria. She obtained a Bachelor's of Nursing and a Masters of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in public health from Grand Canyon University. She previously worked for Grady Health System Atlanta and the state of Georgia as a charge nurse and currently works as a registered nurse with Dekalb County. Folasade is interested and passionate about improving the quality of life of underprivileged women and children. She believes that everyone possesses great potential that if properly nurtured and equipped can yield great exploits.

Blessing Omoerah graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelors in Nursing. I have practiced as a Registered Nurse for the past 21 Years. As a nurse, there is that natural caring and nurturing trait that comes with the profession. I enjoy helping anyone who is need and I enjoybeing able to bring comfort to the distressed. In the course of my career as a nurse I have had the privilege of participating in several medical missions to Nigeria and Burkina Faso. I love being able to give back to the community. I was honored when I was asked to be a part of this great course. I applaud all the great work that has already been done and pledge to do my part to contribute to the growth of this great organization.

DR. ADENIYI ADEWALE
Board Secretary
Dr. Adewale obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, and a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He is a pharmaceutical drug development professional. He is passionate about the empowerment of others, especially people from humble backgrounds needing a chance to realize their God-given potentials. Dr. Adewale joined the board of ICDA in 2020.
SAMUEL SOWUNMI, MBA

Samuel Sowunmi earned an Associate degree in Business Administration, a BSc in Accounting, and an MBA in Project Management. He currently works at an Engineering/Construction company as the Accountant/Project Coordinator. Samuel Sowunmi has a passion for helping less privileged and underrepresented groups. He joined the board of ICDA in 2020
DR. SADE KEMBI
Program Coordinator
Dr. Sade Kembi currently serves as a public health scientist at the CDC in Atlanta, GA. Prior to her current job, she served as a laboratory scientist at various private and government parastatals in the USA. She previously worked as a lecturer at the Olabisi Onabanjo University (previously known as Ogun State
University), Nigeria before migrating to the USA. Dr. Kembi obtained a doctoral and master’s degree in Public Health. She also has a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in microbiology. She enjoys serving the underserved and underprivileged. She often provides public health services during public health emergencies including natural disasters, epidemics, and pandemics.
